That'd make a horrible impression on me too, as an adult.

I'm sure Dostoevsky was a little off his rocker. He certainly fills his stories with highly emotional and mentally unstable people. I agree, it's a thought-provoking story. It provides insight into the events and kinds of people that led up to the Bolshevik Revolution.Sharon Wilfonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17466621290140789056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948826710613032587.post-41435900073715387242012-11-20T16:19:05.078-08:002012-11-20T16:19:05.078-08:00That stories about the moving men is priceless.

I did find that novel excellent. I seem to remember The Crocodile as a movie I saw when I was a child (it was updated and don't remember in what language) but it made a terrible impression on me to this day.

Dostoyevsky suffered a lot throughout his life, I wouldn't be surprised if he was a bit crazy. He was a political prisoner sentenced to death and faced a mock execution only for his sentence to be changed to 4 years in Siberia.

http://www.ManOfLaBook.comMan of la Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11561603511163982556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948826710613032587.post-50761687123153113072012-11-20T05:53:47.391-08:002012-11-20T05:53:47.391-08:00Hi, Eustacia.
