I wish we had the resources or creativity or whatever it is we need to make churches like that today. Nowadays, it seems we're lucky to get a church with windows anymore.
Actually the church I attend is old so it has giant stained glass windows and beautiful buttressed arches (even if it is Baptist :)Sharon Wilfonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17466621290140789056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948826710613032587.post-89098621595249012262015-12-21T17:07:18.783-08:002015-12-21T17:07:18.783-08:00I had left home as a young adult before I realized...I had left home as a young adult before I realized that most people did not grow up like me. There's pros and cons to both.
On the one hand I got to live in a lot of interesting places and meet people from all over the world but on the other hand I've never in my life felt as though I fit in anywhere. Take care!Sharon Wilfonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17466621290140789056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948826710613032587.post-43620967544795107672015-12-21T17:05:50.296-08:002015-12-21T17:05:50.296-08:00HI Cleopatra! I wouldn't mind a little brisker weather or even rain. I am not far from the areas that I grew up in so this is hard to relate to. It must have been a little disorientating.Brian Josephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15139559400312336791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948826710613032587.post-26439970569048615382015-12-20T17:23:43.040-08:002015-12-20T17:23:43.040-08:00Great photos, Sharon! I assume it was intentional, an emphatic move away from the Catholic opulence.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas as well! It's pretty rainy and wet here, which is not very Christmassy, but there's much more snow on the mountains than there has been for the last couple of years, so that's nice. I do hope we get snow though before spring rolls around again. Cleohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13152128642971612433noreply@blogger.com
